What are Concessions?

These Concessions are a fantastic opportunity for all of us who cherish the beauty and history of classic automobiles. It’s a voluntary concession designed for vehicles with vintage charm, if your vehicle is eligible, you can enjoy up to 100% exemption from vehicle licence fees!

How can you apply for a Concession?

    • Download and fill out the Concessions for Classic Scheme (Form E116) or Vintage/Veteran/Post Vintage/Invitation Class Vehicle Licence Concession Application (Form E81) for each vehicle you’d like to apply the concession.
    • Make sure to complete the Motoring Club declaration, and have it signed by an authorised WASCC staff member.
    • For the Vintage/Veteran Vehicle (404) you need to complete the ‘Certification of Financial Membership’ (CMC1 form) – available for download on the Council of Motoring Clubs of WA website.
    • Submit your application to the Department of Transport (DoT) in one of these ways:
      Email: concessions@transport.wa.gov.au
      Post: Vehicle Services (Concessions), Department of Transport
      In Person: Visit a Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) centre, a DoT regional office, or an agent near you.
