WA Sporting Car Club member Garth Tander has secured his 5th victory in the Bathurst 1000 equalling Steven Richards record and joining an exclusive club of 7 drivers to have done so in the history of the race.

The 2021 season is a wrap for the WA Sporting Car Club with the running of the November Nightmasters on Saturday 13th November with a few state championships coming down to the line.

Western Australia’s circuit racing season is heading towards the night finale in November and had two days of track action at Wanneroo Raceway on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October.

With over 100 competitors and 7 championships to be decided at this meet, it was all eyes to the front of the grid as even the weather couldn’t interfere with the close racing and action provided by the talented feel of West Australian motorsport competitors.
