Drifting at WASCC

DRIFTWEST is alive and well, with activities planned at Wanneroo Raceway for August, September, October and November. As well as that we’ve already started to think about the 2021 season and drift is definitely on the calendar.

8th August will be a Drift Practice, one which has been part of the calendar all year. There’ll be action on the infield as well as the main track. What is new is that the activity will be open to non-members. Like all our events, non-member entrants need to be a member of a Motorsport Australia affiliated club. If you’re not a member of either you can sign up on the night and become a WASCC member. It’s a Saturday night, we’ll have the Paddock Bar open at Turn 1, grab some mates, they’ll be able to take advantage of the park and view and make a night of it.

On top of that, we’re planning a bit more for September, October and November with the best of both worlds in one night, for member and non-member entrants! Coming in under the Tarmac Sportz banner we’ll be running DriftNightz. The infield will have custom layouts for trainees, practice and even passenger rides. The main track will be pumping with tandem drifting providing some great side-by-side action.
