It was with sadness and regret that the Committee, members and staff of the WA Sporting Car Club learnt of the passing of a great stalwart, our long time Life member, past-President and much-loved Club supporter Rob Janney. Rob died quietly in hospice after a brave battle with illness.

Rob had a long and enduring relationship with this Club and many of us here today are testament to the popularity and respect he has earned in his role as supporter, mentor and leader within the Club community and beyond. And didn’t he cherish his beloved Club, rarely seen in pictures, wherever he was in the world, not wearing a Club cap.

Rob was a true gentleman of the Club and his life will be remembered and celebrated.
