The WA Sporting Car Club has appointed Principal Engineer Steve Brake from Calibre Consulting to assist in the implementation of the outline plan agreed at the stakeholders meeting of 25 May. Steve is currently working on similar projects including the upgrade of Collie Raceway.

A working group of eminent motorcycle trainers and riders has been established to assist Steve as the first phase of the plan is implemented – the return of training and restricted ride activity. To this end, the working group met on 4 July and laid positive foundations for the implementation of measures that will see an expeditious return of these activities. Testing of the layout modifications as well as production of materials is envisaged for early August. Pending successful testing, invitations will be forwarded to observe a public display of the proposed measures.
