Motorsport Coaching Clinic

WA Sporting Car Club, in partnership with Electrical Group Training (EGT), brings you the Start Line range of educational and introductory days. These days are your entry point to enjoying motorsport and improving your driving skills on and off the track.

EGT MOTORSPORT COACHING CLINIC

Ready to refine your motorsport skills? This coaching clinic is designed to help you master the fundamentals of performance driving, with a focus on:
  • Entering and exiting corners (working on specific corners at a time)
  • Braking points and key techniques
  • Building confidence and consistency behind the wheel
  • Each participant will be paired with a dedicated coach, matched to your vehicle type or chosen category of interest.
  • You’ll also have the chance to review in-car footage and data (please bring a GoPro/camera with a secure mount, plus a laptop for playback).
This Program Includes
  • 5 x 15-minute on-track sessions with and without your coach
  • 5 x 15-minute review sessions with your coach
Basic Requirements
  • Helmet with a minimum of a AS1698 compliance sticker.
  • Long sleeve shirt, preferably cotton, long pants down to the ankle, preferably no polyester or similar.
  • Enclosed footwear.
  • Minimum age of 16 years old
Vehicle Requirements
  • No EV’s or Hybrids
  • Your own vehicle that is mechanically sound and capable of safely undertaking the activities.
  • Must have properly fitted passenger seat
  • Front and rear tow points
  • Fire extinguisher securely fitted

Who is Electrical Group Training?

Our Start Line events sponsor Electrical Group Training (EGT) is the largest employer of electrical apprentices in Western Australia. Their apprentices are amongst the safest and best trained in the electro technology industry.

As a not-for-profit group training organisation, EGT employs and trains apprentices within the industry and places them with a host employer for an agreed period of time, in order to gain various on-the-job experience.
