The Motorsport Coaching Clinics are delivered by the WA Sporting Car Club at Wanneroo Raceway, in partnership with Electrical Group Training (EGT), as part of the Start Line Events.
These clinics are designed to improve driving technique, confidence, and consistency through structured on-track coaching.
What you’ll work on
- Corner entry and exit, focusing on specific corners
- Braking points and braking technique
- Building confidence and repeatable lap times
Each participant is paired with a dedicated coach, matched to their vehicle type or intended category.
On-track and review format
- 5 × 15-minute on-track sessions (with and without your coach)
- 5 × 15-minute off-track review sessions with your coach
- Opportunity to review your own in-car footage and data
(Participants must supply their own securely mounted camera and laptop for playback)
Driver requirements
- Motorsport Australia Speed Licence
- AS1698-compliant helmet
- Long-sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed footwear
- Minimum age: 16 years
Vehicle requirements
- No EVs or hybrids
- Mechanically sound vehicle
- Properly fitted passenger seat
- Front and rear tow points
- Securely mounted fire extinguisher
