PRIVATE PRACTICE
Our members are welcome to hire the track mid-week for private practice. The private booking means you can test your vehicle and sharpen your skills without having to worry about on track traffic.
Fees and requirements are:
- $190 per car per hour for WASCC Members hire
- $245 per car per hour for NON WASCC Members hire
- Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
- Cancellations require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable and will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
- The remaining amount after the cancellation fee will be held in credit.
- Hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence or higher
- You will need an observer who holds a Motorsport Australia Official’s licence
- You will need an observer who holds a current First Aid Certificate (This can be one person if they hold both First Aid and Official’s licence)
- An Australian Standards approved helmet must be worn
- Clothing must cover to the ankles, neck and wrists
- Passengers are not allowed at any time
- Non WASCC members can also hire the track per hour but are required to be a member of another Motorsport Australia Sporting Affiliated Car Club. To check whether your car club is MSA affiliated, see: https://motorsport.org.au/clubs/club-finder
To obtain a Motorsport Australia General Officials licence please follow this link to sign up as a Motorsport Australia Official and complete the Introduction to Officiating online module. This takes most people 20 minutes to complete.

MEMBERS’ TUNING DAYS
At just $110 per driver, Members’ Tuning Days present great value to shakedown your car at CARCO.com.au Raceway. You can come and test for an hour or spend the day – it’s up to you.
You can either pre-book through the Motorsport Australia portal, or register at the Race Office on the day.
Fees and requirements are:
- $110 per driver
- Must be a current member of the WASCC and have your membership card with you
- Hold a Motorsport Australia Speed Licence or higher
- An Australian Standards approved helmet must be worn
- Clothing must cover to the ankles, neck and wrists
- No passengers are allowed
- Be fitted with a fire extinguisher compliant with Schedule H
- Display a blue triangle of sides 150mm indicating the location of the battery.
- If the battery is located in the cockpit, an additional blue triangle not less than 60mm sides fitted on the cover of the battery or immediately adjacent to the battery if uncovered.
- Car must be fitted with a visible towing point (capable of accepting a 40mm OD cylindrical test object) fitted forward of the front axle and rear of the rear axle capable of towing the vehicle on a flat sealed surface with wheels locked.
- Where tow points are obstructed, each tow point must be labelled with the word TOW of a contrasting colour.
- A road registered series production vehicle fitted with any unmodified original equipment tow point will be exempt from these requirements, save for the requirement to identify an obscured front and/or rear tow point.
