The WA Sporting Car Club (WASCC) is pleased to inform members that we are pushing ahead with plans to resurface the Long Circuit track at Barbagallo.

A sub-committee has been formed to manage the project, with works expected to take place over the December 2018 / January 2019 break. WASCC will soon be advertising for two companies to tender based on earlier Expressions of Interest.

We understand there is a lot of discussion about the mix that could be used in the resurfacing. The sub-committee is aware of the different points of view and these will all be taken into consideration throughout project management.

This is a significant milestone for WASCC and Barbagallo. We understand the track is known for being abrasive and we are pleased to be able to progress this project in recognition of what our members and drivers have been telling us.
